About Course

The challenges we face today are complex, and traditional facilitation methods aren’t enough to address them. This foundation course is designed to introduce  facilitators, consultants, and leaders who want to deepen their practice by integrating regenerative principles into their work.

You’ll learn the ideas, systems, and approaches behind REGENASYST games, which combine facilitation with systems thinking, living system principles, and play!

Course Content

🌱 Module 1: Foundations – Understanding Regeneration
This module presents regeneration as a transformative process that revitalises systems and fosters resilience. Learners will explore regenerative principles, contrast them with sustainability, and understand the role of Indigenous knowledge in shaping regenerative thinking. Through real-world examples, the module showcases practical applications across sectors and introduces regenerative facilitation. By adopting systems-based and ecological perspectives, participants will gain skills to move beyond problem-solving, creating conditions for long-term transformation in organisations, communities, and ecosystems.

🔍 Module 2: Building Facilitation Capabilities – The Tools & Skills
This module focuses on developing the mindset, skills, and tools needed for regenerative facilitation. Participants will learn core techniques such as active listening, verbal and non-verbal communication strategies, and working with group dynamics. The module also explores navigating complexity, addressing resistance, and avoiding common facilitation mistakes. Learners will gain the ability to design and adapt workshops for in-person, remote, hybrid, or outdoor settings, equipping them to lead transformative conversations with confidence and impact.

🚀 Module 3: Practical Application & Advanced Strategies – Bringing It to Life
This module focuses on deepening your skills and applying regenerative facilitation in diverse contexts. You’ll explore the neuroscience of play and how games unlock imagination and collaboration, while learning strategies to navigate power dynamics, resistance to change, and conflict. The module introduces tools like nonviolent communication, Indigenous approaches to conflict resolution, and techniques for creating long-term transformation. It also covers measuring impact through regenerative success metrics and sustaining momentum beyond sessions. The course concludes with pathways for facilitator growth, offering resources for continuous learning, peer connection, and mastery.
